BISHAMON-ASA
A design in which the Bishamon kikko pattern holds the asa-no-ha pattern within it. Bishamon kikko is a repeating Y-shaped unit of three hexagons joined at a single point — the pattern worn on the armor of Bishamonten, god of war and one of the Seven Lucky Gods. Asa-no-ha is a geometric pattern of overlapping six-pointed stars modeled on the leaves of hemp; because hemp grows straight and fast with little tending, it stands as a symbol of healthy growth. Warding off misfortune while cultivating the talent and ambition within — bound together, the two patterns hold offense and defense in harmony. In the mirror, its presence changes the air of a salon in an instant. A special cape for professionals: an expression of your craft, and of the narrative of yamato-damashii — the Japanese spirit — carried within.
