The Chugoku-Shikoku qualifying round for the World Barber Classic was held at the HIROSHIMA BARBER'S FES in Hiroshima on May 6, 2024.
The cape used at that time will be a triple collaboration cape between local barber shops, artist Bob, and Barber & Apparel Nakamura Shoten.
At Nakamura Shoten, these types of capes are called #CBC (Custom Barber Capes) .

We will introduce the artistic synergy created by local talent and Nakamura Shoten's new initiatives.
Local graphic artists and barber shops teamed up to create original cutting capes, a project aimed at harnessing the creative energy of the local community.

The finished cutting capes feature designs that combine the artist's creative vision with local cultural elements: they are more than just hairdressing tools; they act as iconic pieces of the local art scene.
#Conclusion <br data-mce-fragment="1">Local collaborations like this are rewarding endeavors not only for the individual artists but for the community as a whole. They open up new possibilities by uncovering new creative talent and showcasing the unique character of the region to a national and even global audience.
Although this project started in a small community, its impact is far-reaching. Please support Nakamura Shoten's efforts to create a new art form through collaboration with local artists.
