STACON 2026, a style convention for barbering and beauty, takes place on October 5, 2026.

NK Supply sponsors the event and makes and supplies the cutting capes used at the venue.

Short for STYLE CONVENTION

Three meanings are layered into the name STACON.

STAGE CONNECTION, meaning connections between people and culture; STAND CONSCIOUS, meaning ideas such as the SDGs and accessibility; and STANDARD.

U-29 BARBER BATTLE

A round-robin among 7 licensed barbers and hairdressers aged 29 or under (as of October 5). The time limit is 30 minutes.

Judging covers 6 criteria: the before and after, the balance between hairstyle and fashion, edgy design, use of tools, demeanor, and the overall concept.

CUT SHOW

6 performers, 20 minutes.

They split into 2 teams of 3. Everyone wears a white T-shirt, and only 2 styling products are used. From the same tools, how different can the finished looks be? What makes the difference is skill and interpretation.

HAIR SHOW

6 performers, 20 minutes. KENJE GROUP, which operates 170 or more salons mainly in Kanagawa and Tokyo, is providing full cooperation. The DJ is scheduled to play songs chosen by the stylists as part of the staging.

WIG HAIR SHOW

A hair show using wigs. Of course, people with hair loss enjoy hair and makeup too.

Two stylists finish the same wig, each with their own sensibility, and show completely different results.

Custom Barber Cape

The mission of BarBer & Apparel NK Supply is “to inspire barbers and hairdressers.” We believe that inspiring them requires liberating their identity.

Events have their own individuality, too.
