Japanese swords made in Okayama, Japan, where our company is based, are highly regarded for their beautiful hamon, excellent sharpness, and durability. Furthermore, beyond their role as weapons and in Japanese samurai culture, they are also highly valued as works of art.

Influenced especially by Zen Buddhism, samurai culture was deeply connected with the tea ceremony. Tea ceremonies embodied the principles of harmony, respect, purity and tranquility and were an essential part of samurai life. These ceremonies had not only an aesthetic aspect but also a spiritual meaning. Writings and artwork by samurai frequently depict their connection with tea, indicating that the tea ceremony was an important element in their lives.
