KASURI
Patterns are created by partially dyeing the thread before weaving it. Inspired by traditional weaving techniques.
These techniques are called different names in different countries.
In Indonesia and Southeast Asia, Ikat
In Japan, Kasuri
Kasuri is used in a variety of products such as kimonos, obi sashes, and interior items, and has long been loved for its unique texture and beauty.
Each region has its own unique style and techniques, with designs reflecting each region's unique culture and traditions.
We learned this noble technique of expression and expressed it in print on cutting capes.
