PARLOR FLASH
PARLOR FLASH — a homage to 1950s American tattoo parlors.
The pattern is based on “flash” — the sample designs that hung on tattoo parlor walls in the 1950s. Anchors, swallows, roses, horseshoes, dice, mermaids, and words on ribbons. Sailors had these motifs tattooed on their bodies for luck and protection.
- Black: Reds and golden yellows stand out on a black background. A cape that feels like a shop at night (ribbon words: LUCK, MOM, FAITH, AMOR)
- Antique: A beige background. A cape that feels like turning the pages of an old design book (ribbon words: HOPE, TRUE, LUCKY, LOVE)
